FAQs
"But what do I wear?!"
You know who you are best! Don't pursue styles that don't reflect who you are. Dress in ways that you feel comfortable, and in clothes that fit your body right. For most of my sessions, I recommend packing a couple of more casual outfits as well as one that is dressier. The definition of casual and dressy varies by individual. One person's dressy might be a suit and tie, another's might be a shirt that isn't oil stained from work. Complex patterns and neon colors can be a bit distracting, but I believe any rule can be broken when the situation is appropriate.
"Do you offer payment plans for weddings?"
Heck yeah! If breaking up a payment makes your life easier, we can certainly set up a payment plan. The default setup is to have 25% down as a retainer upon signing, and the final sum is due 30 days before the event. However many installments you wish to make is up to you! And I offer a variety of payment options: cash, check, credit card, PayPal, + Venmo.
"Why aren't digital files always included with the session fee?"
First off, all weddings + bundled engagements have their files included in the price, yay! But when it comes down it, the session fee covers the session time, the expenses to drive around for the session, editing hours, and correspondence hours. My session prices would be higher to include all files with their permissions, but I choose to keep the session separate from the products so no one has to feel obliged to buy them all. The online galleries give my clients the option to either directly purchase professional prints or either individual files or the full gallery of files with printing permissions.
"Who do your professional prints go through?" My online gallery orders are fulfilled by my favorite lab, WHCC, and delivered directly to your doorstep! If anything goes wrong with your order, the WHCC and I will make sure it is corrected!
"If I buy digital files, where can I print?" I provide a list of approved labs and websites to order your prints through! My one primary request however is to avoid print at superstores such as Walmart. Sure, it may be convenient, but I want my art to look good on your walls! You deserve far better than mediocre!
