Hey, I’m Emma!
I’m a stay-at-home-working mom located in a quaint community known as Keweenaw Bay in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I’ve been serving and becoming friends with couples and families for over a decade. Raised in nature, I’m a biology and ecology nerd (that’s what my degree is actually in - ha!). My family lives on an old apple orchard with a few chickens and a clever mutt.
There’s a process when it comes to documenting another’s life, especially in doing so with accuracy. To truly document the authenticity of your life, it’s my duty to befriend and get to know you. From inquiry to beyond the session, I care about building a relationship with you. After all, if you’re looking for a photographer, you’re also looking to intimately invite in an outside perspective that can be very up close and personal. I want to learn your story so it can be told forevermore with depth. So you can remember the way your grandmother would sit when she would tell you stories. So your children can clearly recall how it felt when you held them. So you can see how your love multiplied through the years, despite the challenges. So your lives live on as legacies. Never to be forgotten. Left to live immortally in some capacity.
