So, why even take engagement photos? Let’s be real. This is our one shot at a practice run before your big day. We’re not naturally used to having a camera around, and the more we get to know each other and work together before the wedding, the better your wedding images will be!

Lifestyle is such a trendy word right now, and to be honest, it’s commonly misused! Lifestyle isn’t simply the absence of an old school studio; lifestyle is documenting a day in your life. This isn’t your typical mini Christmas card shoot. This is a multi-hour affair where you’re subject to having your toddler’s tantrums, your imperfect house, and so much more documented for the sake of preserving life in a particular life chapter. This chapter could be in newlywed bliss, or upon adopting a pet, or perhaps preparing to make a move, or maybe even welcome in a new baby, or trying to embrace the beauty in the curiosity of childhood. Whatever it may be, I agree. This is important to document.
