Alea: Class of 2015 Senior Portraits

Meet the effortlessly beautiful Alea!

The contrast of Alea's eyes against the neutral tones of spring... swoon!

Aside from the amazing neutral palate spring provides, however, there is also the soft, muddy soil. You guessed it right; I got my car stuck! Just the day before, the NMU Figure Skating Team chose me for the "Most Optimistic" award. We couldn't stop laughing and cracking optimism jokes while my dad rescued us in his far burlier truck. This delay, however, allowed us to take advantage of dreamier evening light! We had originally scheduled Alea's session in the mid-afternoon in fear of perpetual cloud cover demising our light quicker in the evening. The sun was on our side, and so were the crystalline shard remnants of ice on Keweenaw Bay. Anna, Alea's best friend, snuck in for a few photos in the end. You'll be seeing Anna again in the near future ;)
