Tyler + Teegan: Autumn Keweenaw Engagement
These two...
At the time of life we were taking their engagement photos, Tyler was living in Hancock finishing up at Michigan Tech and Teegan was taking off on her interior design career in Grand Rapids. We somehow were able to align a weekend that worked for all three of us at the peak of the fall colors in the Keweenaw! We started amid the cathedral of tall maples on Covered Road. What the photos don't reveal was how many times we had to run out of the way because it was a super busy day for the fall color tour, ha! After few places in between, we swung by the KBC for photos and beer. Who says you can't enjoy yourselves while having your engagement photos taken? We proceeded to galavant around mining ruins and ended at one of my personal favorite locations, Bumbletown. Bumbletown gives the viewer a unique account of both sides of the Keweenaw Peninsula to where you can see Lake Superior fade into the horizon in the east and the west. Mount Bohemia, Brockway Mountain, Bare Bluff, and the Cliff Mines create a natural skyline in the northern distance.
Tyler and Teegan's happily ever after begins this June at an intimate farmstead near Manistique. Together, they are such sweet, sincere, and fun human beings, and I'm so gratefully blessed to have the honor to document their love story.
Enjoy the cozy flannel blanket snuggles in the Keweenaw sunset!
