Pike Place Market in Film
As of recent, I've taken to learning the ways of film photography. Half of my life has been documented with 35mm color film, while now the other half has been preserved digitally. As a child, I've witnessed the conversion of mainstream photographic mediums... but can I just get an alleluia when I say film is not dead?! Film is forcing me to slow down, savor, and refine. I'm making a point to resurrect this beautiful neglected art form in my personal life once again so that my son too can flip through authentic film photographs nostalgically someday.
Today's post is dedicated to the few black and white rolls I shot while wandering Pike Place Market with my 35mm Minolta. I visited Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula earlier this year while my mom was teaching basketry classes in Seabeck. I caught a ferry from Bremerton in the morning and let adventure lead me through the afternoon.
