Connor + Karaline | Sunny Keweenaw Engagement

The Keweenaw holds a sentimental piece of Kara and Connor’s heart. Connor’s family owns a lake house off the sandy shores of Bete Gris and it’s been a sacred getaway for them for years. Now with Kara, Connor has brought Kara along to enjoy the untouched lands and pristine waters that she too has fallen hard for. It was only logical that they would venture from their city lives to spend a weekend in nature bliss for their engagement photos, as well as eventually exchange vows there in July!

When Kara and Connor contacted me, we instantly bonded over our love of the beloved Keweenaw region as well as our love for the flora, Lake Superior, birding, and much, much more. Their initial inquiry sounded quite literally like I wrote an email to myself posing to be my dream clients. It was certainly fate that we’d work together despite taking on fewer weddings at this time.

Connor and Kara scrambled up conglomerate crests, danced on the expansive shoreline of the Great Sand Bay, and cradled each other in the mist of a waterfall to make their session come to life.
