Brett + Bryana | Adventurous Keweenaw Engagement

Guys, I’ve been dying to share this post for FOREVER!

Bryana and Brett (as most of my followers probably already know) are some of my favorite people. Bryana is the photographer behind Riutta Images and has been my dear friend for quite some time now! Here are a few things you may or may not have known about our friendship:

  • We’ve road-tripped across England and Scotland together

  • We both will drink coffee at any temperature (I think it’s the whole working from home thing, you get busy and kind of forget your drinking it, but still need it when it’s cold, but you don’t want to leave your computer to warm it up because work, hahaha)

  • We tend to narrate the lives of whitetail deer (or any animals) that we see when we’re on excursions together

  • She’s one of my bridesmaids

I can’t begin to explain how talented and driven this couple is. Brett and Bryana make up B + B Workshop on Etsy, and Bryana just recently launched a new lifestyle blog with her partner, Kendra, at Harbor + Pine. Furthermore, Bryana co-hosts the Keweenaw Bridal Expo with another local photographer, bringing so much light to our local engaged couples on our talented wedding vendors in the area!

This post is a bit late (a lot of my upcoming posts technically are) as they already wed last September, but how could I not share their incredible, adventurous Keweenaw session!? You may have already scrolled through their proposal story a little while back, so might recognize our first stop at one of Bryana’s favorite places in the world, Hungarian Falls.

We didn't have an exact plan. All we knew is that we allllll love the Keweenaw, and so off adventuring we went! We found some lush lupines patches on our way past abandoned copper mines.

Some low key rock climbing and a mini hike into Horseshoe Harbor = the perfect time to rock a jumpsuit ;)

A Keweenaw adventure is not complete without sand dunes!

We wrapped up B + B’s session along the beaches of Eagle River…
