Karena | Hancock Class of 2019

Is it truly June already?! Our 2019 seniors are flying out the doors! To honor their amazingness, I have Karena’s session featured today. She’s a hard working senior whose bound to achieve great things. I’ve also had the privilege of working with both of Karena’s older sisters, Kaylor and Kaisa, in previous years! All three used the same locations for their shoots, making this final shoot with the sisters even more sentimental.

We began at their Hancock home:

Our second stop gave us dreamy, hazy fields and old building foundations:

On our way to Sedar Bay (the spelling is actually just cringy like that, I know it should be spelled “Cedar,” hahaha), we spotted a patch of sweet peas! We splashed around on the shores of their Lake Superior camp too.

On our final stop in the Keweenaw, Karena took a few photos with her glasses. I’m often asked if you should or shouldn’t wear your glasses for photos, and the answer is that it’s truly up to you! If they’re a part of you, you should include them, at least for a few shots. It’s a quick and easy transition. :)

Everyone can’t wait to see what you do in the world, Karena! You’re talented, beautiful, and unstoppable.
