Miriam in the Apple Orchard
Last fall, Dustin and I bought what we believe to be our “forever home.”
It doesn’t feel real.
We are in the house where we want to raise our children and cherish our family. We’re in the house we believe we’ll be living in until retirement. It feels like magic. It feels like home.
With our home came an old apple orchard. We signed our purchase agreement back in September though, and we hadn’t yet experienced spring and summer in our Keweenaw Bay wonderland — until now.
The apple blossoms were in full bloom just last week, so I called up my dear friend, Miriam, and collaborated a little with The Flower Co. in L’Anse. The petals are now flying like heavenly confetti as spring transitions into summer, but I’m happy to have a few frames capturing the whimsical beauty of the apple blossoms.
