Ethan + Hannah | Snowy November Vows in the Keweenaw
With their love story beginning at church, Hannah and Ethan united their souls in the presence of God at the South Range Apostolic Church in late November. While snow isn’t uncommon in Upper Michigan’s autumn, they were greeted with the heaviest snowstorm of the season that came in time for Thanksgiving too.
Hannah and Ethan met amid the snow covered wood-line just outside of the church to have a private moment alone.
After their first look, they took ample warm-up breaks to prevent too rosy of cheeks, then knocked out bridal party and family photos.
Before the ceremony, Hannah and Ethan took a ride with us down the street to a logging road where the trees were perfectly coated with snow. What you don’t see behind the scenes, however, is that they invited Ethan’s sister-in-law along too to help with flyaway hairs and adjusting outfits. This is sometimes an awesome idea to include someone who knows you well and will recognize if something is out of place! Photographers try their best to pick up on wrinkled up shirts and hair out of place, but on a day such as Ethan and Hannah’s wedding day, its super helpful to have another set of eyes and hands to help when everyone is freezing!
Pre-ceremony…
With all of the photos done ahead of time, Hannah and Ethan were able to immediately join their guests for their reception at the church! After their entry, they ate dinner with everyone, cut their GORGEOUS cake, signed their marriage license, and played the shoe game!
Thanks for having me, Hannah and Ethan! xo
