Dylan + Amber | Huron Bay Engagement in the Fall
Impending rain and snow clouds loomed across the autumn horizon as Dylan and Amber finished getting ready at camp on Huron Bay for their engagement photos. With the threatening skies to the east, we moved westward for the shoot and caught glimpses of sun through colossal red pine stands.
As we made our way to Big Eric’s bridge on the Huron River, the sun shone stronger, illuminating the late October colors. We occasionally were met with the interruption of light bursts of cold rain, but Dylan and Amber remained cozied up with each other and laughed it off.
Further out, they walked the beaches at the mouth of the Huron River (where Dustin and I got married!), where the Huron Islands can be seen in the near distance.
Just down the road from the beach are the mossiest grounds with an abundance of lichens and ferns too!
As we made our way back toward the family camp, we stopped to run down the most colorful roads and snacked on Michigan apples.
Before the rain and snow completely let loose, we snuck a couple final frames at camp itself, where Amber and Dylan will be getting married this summer!
